Vik Sorensangbam is a senior character artist specializing in hero digi-doubles for feature films, with strong experience in both asset creation and team leadership. He is credited for creating the Hero Digi-Double in Red One and is known for modeling Cal and Krampus, as well as Gal Gadot for Netflix’s Heart of Stone, delivering assets built for extreme close-up shots.
His expertise in Marvelous Designer spans costume and garment creation for major productions including Kong: Skull Island, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Jack Ryan (TV series), Watchmen (TV series), and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Vik also brings extensive hard-surface modeling experience from films such as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Moonfall, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, including modeling a damaged C-3PO.
In addition to film work, Vik served as Team Character Supervisor on the Far Cry franchise at Ubisoft, where he led character teams and maintained visual quality across production. He has also worked as an Outsourcing Art Director, collaborating with international studios to ensure artistic consistency, technical accuracy, and efficient cross-studio production pipelines.
In 2024, Vik founded Vik3D Digital, a boutique studio offering high-end 3D modeling services for films and games. The studio focuses on character and creature modeling, hard-surface design, and premium garment creation using Marvelous Designer for film and games.

Vik's journey into digital artistry began after attending Vancouver Film School in 2005, where he studied classical animation, 3D animation, visual effects, and film theory. His passion for storytelling, comics, and video games has been a driving force throughout his career.
